Treatments

LawnTender will provide the following programme
of regular treatments for year-round colour, health,
strong growth and disease resilience.

Spring Treatment

Our specialist slow release, non-scorch feeds get the lawn off to a strong, green start. We also apply selective weed and moss control treatments.

Additional Spring services will be recommended if and when your lawn requires them, including:

Scarification
This service mechanically rakes dense thatch, moss and other debris from your lawn. In doing so, water has a clear passage, air can flow into the ground and the main causes of moss are removed.
Aeration
Hundreds of holes are created in the soil to allow water and air to penetrate the compacted top layer of soil. When hollow tines are used, small soil cores are left on the lawn and will break down to act as a top dressing. Aeration improves lawn growth and health, as well as protecting against moss and other lawn problems.
Insect control
Grubs such as leatherjackets feed off the roots of the grass, resulting in brown/dead areas. We are licensed to apply specialist insecticides to remove this problem.

Early Summer Treatment

Our feeds will replace lost nutrients during this heavy growing season. An application of our specialist weed killer will continue to control new and more persistent weeds.

Additional Early Summer services will be recommended if and when your lawn requires them, including:
